HOW DOES A MINI SESSION EVENT WORK?

Our mini sessions are held as back-to-back sessions of up to 10 minutes. This format allows me to provide you with the most beautiful set and photos, but at a fraction of our normal price. This does mean however, that this may not work for all families, and I strongly encourage you to read all of our terms and conditions prior to booking to make sure this is the right session for you. I also offer standard studio sessions that may suit your family.

SESSION FAQ’s

How many people can attend?
These sessions are for up to 6 persons from a single-family unit – ie 2 parents and children. Sessions do not include extended family and/or friends. Cousins may participate in photos together when back-to-back sessions are booked.

Can I change/cancel/reschedule my booking?
Please select your session time carefully, once booked it cannot be rescheduled, refunded or cancelled for any reason. Whilst we understand that things can pop up, our ability to offer these sessions at a fraction of our standard price is dependent on client attendance and reduced administration work. Once your session slot has been booked in our system, it is not available to be booked by another client. Please ensure that you understand that you are purchasing a set time slot in our mini-session event and that if you are then unable to attend, this cannot be refunded.

Can I bring pets?
No unfortunately, pets cannot be included in these sessions due to hygiene and allergy reasons.

What should we wear?
I strongly recommend wearing colours within the neutral/burnt/muted range as these will photograph the best in the set. Please avoid bright/neon colours as they will cast onto the skin. Our set is a floor sitting set and will require shoes to be removed before entering.

How long will the session take?
Sessions will take between 5-10mins. Our mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back and cannot be extended past the 10minute time allocation. Please arrive on time for your session, no more than 5 minutes early to avoid congestion in the street.

What time slot should I choose for my session?
Please ensure to avoid a time slot that would coincide with a nap time for your child. It is best to choose a time slot that works best for happy kids… and like us adults, after a good sleep and full tummy.

What happens after the session?
You will receive an email link to your online gallery to select your included images. You may purchase additional images from this gallery if you wish. Images will either download directly or be sent to your email via winzip. I strongly recommend downloading on a PC and not on a mobile device. USB copies can be purchased for an additional $20.00

INCLUSIONS

  • Up to TEN (10) minute session spot;
  • Up to 6 Family members from a single family unit (parents and children). Sessions do not include extended family and/or friends. (Cousins photos can be incorporated with back to back sessions booked per family unit. Please ensure to advise of back to back sessions booked for this purpose).
  • Online gallery to select your FIVE (5) digital image files;
  • Online download of files;

OPTIONAL EXTRAS – AVAILABLE AT GALLERY SELECTION (POST SESSION)

  • Option to upgrade to add additional image files from $10 per file (discounts for bulk purchases)
  • Optional Upgrade to USB delivery including postage $20

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  1. The session fee is NOT REFUNDABLE in the event of change of mind, cancellation, inability to attend or no show to your session time;
  2. Session times cannot be changed or rescheduled after booking;
  3. Sessions cannot be extended or re-booked for late attendees. Love Story Photography reserves the right to retain the session fee should you not arrive on time for your session;
  4. Love Story Photography photographers will do their upmost to encourage smiles and participation of children during your session slot, however cannot extend past the 10 minute allocations in the event of non-cooperation. Please avoid booking a session time within a normal nap time for your child.
  5. Selection Galleries will be ready within 7 days of your session, your gallery link will be emailed to the address provided. From this link you will choose and download your FIVE (5) included images. Additional images can be purchased for $10 per file (bulk purchase discounts will apply);
  6. Downloads are recommended to be done on a PC and not on a phone.
  7. Christmas session images will be edited, however images will not include retouching of skin (scratches, bruises etc), clothing, head swaps or any other extensive ‘photoshopping’;
  8. Images remain copyright of Love Story Photography and are not permitted to be altered in any way including the addition of filters;
  9. Clients will have 2 weeks to download and save their images from their online galleries. Should the client not download images prior to gallery expiry, a $35 reactivation fee will apply;
  10. Clients understand that images are delivered via private online gallery. This will require an up to date browser to allow the download. Client who wish to upgrade to a USB delivery can add this in the store section. USB upgrade is $20 and includes postage.
  11. No outside camera use is permitted;
  12. Sorry, pets cannot be included in these sessions.
